Python Job: Senior Python-Django Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python/Django Developer to make intuitive high level decisions for backend development. You will be creating approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team whenever required. You would be working closely with UX and frontend developer to understand end user requirements. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Some typical things that you’d be doing are:

· Write scalable code and be able to think about the best approach for the particular use case.

· Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.

· Improve functionality of existing systems.

· Devising best practices and modern tools to increase productivity and work quality.

. Work with stakeholders and fellow developers.

· Code reviews and mentoring other members of the team whenever required.

Good to Have:

· Knowledge of Containers and Orchestration (Docker, docker-compose, kubernetes).

· Knowledge of telemetry (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).

· Knowledge of linting.

· Knowledge of server softwares (Nginx, Apache).

· Experience with different deployment techniques.

· Strong knowledge of Unit and Integration testing.

Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years

Must Haves:

· Strong knowledge of security using JWT (Json-Web Token), Hashing (Salt, MD5) and encryption (AES Advanced Encryption System).

. Experience working on monoliths, REST principles (and its constraints) and Caching (Redis)

· Strong proficiency with Django Rest Framework, Knowledge of Middlewares, Adapters and administration. (django-admin).

· Strong knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, EC2, AWS S3).

· Hands on experience working with Query optimisation and DB design.
